Alman Dili ve Edebiyatı Dergisi - Studien zur deutschen Sprache und Literatur is a refereed journal, which publishes German, English or Turkish original articles in the fields of literature, linguistics, cultural studies, and media studies as well as book and congress reviews. All papers are subject to a double-blind reviewing process.
Contributions of intercultural and contrastive studies in the fields of literary studies, linguistics, semiotics, cultural studies, film studies and media studies are welcome.
All expenses of the journal are covered by the Istanbul University. Processing and publication are free of charge with the journal. There is no article processing charges or submission fees for any submitted or accepted articles.
Due to the high demand for our journal, multiple submissions (during the same submission period) from the same author(s) are not accepted. Similarly, for another article by the same author(s) to be evaluated and published again, authors should wait at least 4 issues following their last published article in the journal. Submissions will only be considered for initial screening if all listed authors hold a PhD.
