Born on 16.06.1977, Muzaffer Derya Nazlıpınar Subaşı works as a lecturer for over a decade at Dumlupınar University in Kütahya, Turkey. Holding a Ph.D in English Language and Literature, Dr. Nazlıpınar Subaşı has participated in many international and national conferences and published original articles in the area of her studies including her book, The Female Identity Exploration in a Patriarchal Society as reflected in Virginia Woolf’s ‘The Voyage Out’ and Halide Edip-Adıvar’s ‘Handan’: A Comparative Study (VDM Verlag, 2009). Her research interests include, but not limited to, women's and gender studies, comparative literature, feminist literary theory and women's writing.
