Mehmet Emin Deniz is Associate Professor of Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, University of Batman, Turkey. Previous positions: Harran University and Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey, as Research Assistant, 2002-2012. Authored/co-authored >40 scientific papers, including >16 published in peer-reviewed archival journals. Main research interests: mechanics of composite materials, finite element method, polymer composites, failure anaysis of pinned joint composites, low velocity and ballistic impact of composite structures, static and dynamic (fatigue) tests of composite pipes and plates, enviromental effects on composites (temperature, seawater).
