Melihat TÜZÜN (TURKEY)
Professor and Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts, Trakya University (2018-…), She worked as a professor in Painting Department at Tekirdağ Namik Kemal University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture (2013-18). She was awarded a BFA degree (1997), MFA degree (2000) and DFA degree (2004), by Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Painting Department. She is head of Association of Printmaking Artists Turkey, (2016-..), The Artist, who is a member of the International Association of Plastic Arts, has the First Prize in 1995 for Ayşe and Ercüment Kalmık Foundation Original Print.
In artist works; examines the interaction of man with nature. Makes the question of "Existence" and "Infinity" created by contrasts with concrete and abstract images. The artist, who has 14 solo exhibitions, 12 national and 2 international, participates and International Biennials, Workshops and Mixed Exhibitions. Many national and international museums have works in public institutions and organizations' collections. Tüzün has researches and applications on Non Toxic Engraving.
