  • The December 2026 issue (Issue 53) will be dedicated to the "Year of the Family".
  • The Journal of Modern Turkish History Studies is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (July-December). 
  • The content of the "open access" journal is offered free of charge to all users.
  • Our journal is published only electronically as of the 46th issue (2023/Spring).
     
  • Articles submitted to The Journal of Modern Turkish History Studies are taken into the evaluation process on the basis of their arrival date through Dergipark.
  • Last Period of Ottoman History and History of Turkey in Republican Era compose research topics of the Journal of Modern Turkish History Studies.
  • The submitted works are expected to be original and to present new and noteworthy perspectives on the topic under consideration.
     
  • Articles in Journal of Modern Turkish History Studies are published in Turkish, English French and German languages.
  • Articles sent to the Journal of Modern Turkish History Studies are scanned at https://www.ithenticate.com/ . In order for the articles to be included in the evaluation process, a golden ratio of 15% is sought, excluding references and citations.
