Journal of Erciyes Communication ( Erciyes İletişim Dergisi ) started to be published in 2009 under the name of "Erciyes University Faculty of Communication Academic Journal" (ISSN: 1308-3198), and as of 2018, has been published under the new name "Journal of Erciyes Communication" (e-ISSN: 2667-5811). The journal is an open access international peer-reviewed scientific journal published twice a year: in January and July.
Erciyes Journal of Communication (eid ) includes studies in Turkish and English that have been written in accordance with the publishing principles and spelling rules determined according to international standards and have successfully completed the referee evaluation processes. After the preliminary review, the articles submitted to the evaluation of at least two referees; the studies, then, are published with the approval of the editorial board. Editorial board has the authority not to publish the articles that it has examined in terms of publication principles, ethical issues and writing rules or to return it to the author for correction. Scientific and legal responsibility of the articles published in the journal belong to the authors.
Studies submitted to Journal of Erciyes Communication are checked for similarity in ithenticate program. Preliminary evaluation of the articles is completed within 15 days. The editorial process, referee processes and editing of the articles are completed within 3 months. Articles that successfully pass the editorial and referee processes are published in January or July issue. Authors are informed at every stage of the publication process.
"Journal of Erciyes Communication" is indexed by EBSCO, ERIH Plus, DOAJ and Ulakbim /TR Dizin.
Storage Policy: Erciyes Communication Journal stores the works of the authors in the Aperta community in accordance with the Tübitak Open Science Policy.
