Copyright, Licensing, and Open Access Policy

Milli Egitim Journal adheres to the principles of full open access and is committed to the unrestricted dissemination of scholarly knowledge.  All published articles are made permanently available online without financial, legal, or technical barriers to readers.

Open Access and Licensing

All articles are made immediately available upon publication, with no embargo period, ensuring full and unrestricted open access to scholarly content.

All content published in the journal is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
This license permits users to read, download, copy, reproduce, distribute, print, and link to the full texts of articles for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the original source. Authors retain copyright of their work, while granting the journal the right of first publication. Any use beyond the scope of the license requires permission from the copyright holder.

Through this licensing framework, the journal supports open science practices and promotes the responsible and ethical dissemination of scholarly research.

Long-term Digital Preservation

Milli Egitim Journal is hosted on the DergiPark platform (ULAKBİM), a national academic publishing infrastructure in Türkiye. Archiving and long-term digital preservation are managed centrally through the ULAKBİM Journal Systems (UDS), ensuring the long-term accessibility, integrity, and continuous availability of published scholarly content.

License to Publish

Authors grant Millî Egitim Journal a non-exclusive license to publish their work and to identify itself as the original publisher. This license enables the journal to:
publish and distribute the article,
archive and preserve the content in digital repositories,
include the work in indexing and abstracting services.
This arrangement ensures that authors maintain ownership of their work while allowing the journal to fulfill its role as the original scholarly publisher.

Authors’ Rights and Responsibilities

The ethical, scientific, and legal responsibility for the content of published articles rests solely with the author(s).

Authors are permitted to deposit the published version (Version of Record) of their articles in institutional and subject-based repositories, personal websites, and other platforms of their choice, provided that the original publication in Milli Egitim Journal is properly cited and the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license are respected.
