Open Access and Licensing
All content published in the journal is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
This license permits users to read, download, copy, reproduce, distribute, print, and link to the full texts of articles for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the original source. Any use beyond the scope of the license requires permission from the copyright holder.
Through this licensing framework, the journal supports open science practices and promotes the responsible and ethical sharing of research outputs.
Long-term Digital Preservation
Milli Egitim Journal is hosted on the DergiPark platform, which operates on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) infrastructure developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP). The journal’s content is preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides secure, distributed, and long-term digital archiving independent of the journal website, ensuring continued accessibility of published articles.
License to Publish
Authors grant Millî Eğitim Journal a non-exclusive license to publish their work and to identify itself as the original publisher. This license enables the journal to:
• publish and distribute the article,
• archive and preserve the content in digital repositories,
• include the work in indexing and abstracting services.
This arrangement ensures that authors maintain ownership of their work while allowing the journal to fulfill its role as the original scholarly publisher.
Author Responsibilities
The ethical, scientific, and legal responsibility for the content of published articles rests solely with the author(s).
Transparency and Ethical Declarations
To ensure academic integrity, transparency, and compliance with international publication standards, manuscripts must include the following statements:
• Author Contribution Statement
• Conflict of Interest Statement
• Ethics Statement (where applicable, including ethics committee approval details and confirmation of informed consent)
• Funding Information
• Data Availability Statement
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Declaration
These requirements support transparency in research reporting and align with the publication ethics standards recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
