Sinop University Journal of Social Sciences adopts an open access policy and supports the free dissemination of scientific knowledge. Authors are allowed to archive different versions of their manuscripts in various digital repositories.

An application email has been sent to the relevant institution for the publisher registration of the journal in the Open Policy Finder (formerly Sherpa/Romeo) system. The information will be updated once the registration process is completed.

Authors may archive the following versions of their manuscripts:

Preprint (Version before peer review)
The version of the manuscript prior to peer review may be shared on the author’s personal website, institutional repositories, or subject-based repositories.

Accepted Manuscript (Post-print)
The version accepted after peer review but before publisher formatting may be deposited in institutional repositories and open access archives.

Publisher’s Version / Version of Record
The final published version of the article may be shared on institutional repositories and academic platforms provided that proper citation to the journal is given.

When archiving any version of the manuscript, authors are encouraged to include the following information:

• Journal title: Sinop University Journal of Social Sciences
• Article title
• DOI number
• Volume, issue and year of publication
• Link to the journal webpage

All articles published in this journal are distributed under a Creative Commons license, and no embargo period applies.
