Dr. Onur ÇALIŞKAN graduated from TED Ankara College in 1993. In 2005, he graduated from Department of Geography in Ankara University Faculty of Language History and Geography. In 2005, he started to work as a research assistant at Ankara University, Faculty of Educational Sciences Department of Elementary Education. He got MS degree in 2008 from Geography Department of Graduate Scholl of Social Sciences in Ankara University. In the same year, he started her Ph.D. In 2012 he received his PhD title in the field of Physical Geography. In 2013, he became Assistant Professor in the Department of Primary Education in the Faculty of Education Sciences. He is a member of many national and international scientific associations. He works in scientific researches which is supported from TUBITAK and university resources. There are a number of scientific congress presentations and academic publications. Areas of study include environmental education, fieldworks in education, urban climate, bioclimatology, glacial and periglacial geomorphology.
