Bio

Dr. Tuğba Karabulut is currently teaching as a Lecturer in the School of Foreign Languages at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University in Ankara, Turkey. She has been giving undergraduate courses as a visiting lecturer in the department of English Language and Literature at Social Sciences University of Ankara. She received her Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from Çankaya University, with a dissertation on “Reading Performativity, Gender and the Fragmentation of Narrative Voice in Mina Loy’s Texts and Artworks” in 2019. She has published various articles in international journals including "Futurism and Feminist Performativity: Mina Loy's 'Feminist Manifesto,' Househunting and Christ on a Clothesline in Women's Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal. She has been particularly interested in Modernism and the avant-garde, twentieth-century British poetry, women writers, gender studies, Gothic literature, Romanticism and relations between literature and the visual arts.
