Süleyman Demirel Law Review

Suleyman Demirel Law Review (SDLR) is a national peer-reviewed journal that has been published since 2011 to contribute to both legal scholarship and practice. Since 2017, it has been indexed in the TÜBİTAK – ULAKBİM TR Legal Database. The journal is published biannually in June and December in an open-access electronic format. However, special issues may be published in print if the Editorial Board decides to do so. The journal includes academic works such as articles, case studies, translations, and book reviews prepared by scholars, researchers, and practitioners in the fields of law and related disciplines.
Additionally, in order to enhance the journal's impact and visibility, as well as to ensure its contribution to legal education on a global scale, academic articles are accepted in English or German, in addition to Turkish, to be published in the journal.
Articles submitted for publication must be uploaded to the DergiPark system in ".doc" or ".docx" file format. When entering the article details in the DergiPark system, the full contact information of the author(s) (titles, affiliations, institutional email addresses, ORCID numbers) must be provided. Articles not submitted through the DergiPark system will not be considered.
Articles that do not comply with the journal's writing guidelines, ethical principles, and publishing policies will not be published. The similarity rate of articles submitted for publication is determined using the iThenticate program, and ethical violations are checked. If the similarity rate exceeds 20%, excluding the references and citations, or if an ethical violation is detected, the article will be rejected without being sent to peer review. To determine which articles will be published, each article is evaluated by at least two reviewers from either within Turkey or abroad, following a double-blind peer review process. Authors are required to make the corrections indicated by the reviewers. No fees are charged to authors for submitting or publishing articles.

Articles must be submitted through the DergiPark system.
