SDÜ İFADE

SDU İFADE is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published biannually, in June and December. Established in 2018, the journal publishes research articles, review papers, translations, and book reviews in the fields of public relations, journalism, new media, visual communication, radio, cinema, and television.

The journal aims to contribute to the social sciences by promoting the dissemination of high-quality and original scholarly work. As an international peer-reviewed journal, SDU İFADE accepts manuscripts in Turkish and English, and has continued its publication exclusively in electronic format since 2022.

Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to SDU İFADE are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process, ensuring academic transparency and impartiality.

Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field.

Reviewers do not know the authors’ identities, and authors do not know the reviewers’ identities.

Based on the reviewers’ reports and authors’ revisions, the Editor makes the final publication decision.

This system ensures that all manuscripts are assessed fairly, objectively, and in accordance with scientific principles.

Open Access Policy

SDU İFADE adopts a fully open-access publishing model, making all content freely accessible to readers.

Articles published in the journal may be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, and linked without any restrictions.

All content is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

This policy promotes the free circulation of scientific knowledge and increases the visibility and accessibility of published research.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

SDU İFADE does not charge any fees at any stage of the publication process, including submission, peer review, and publication.

The journal operates as a non-profit academic publication supported by Süleyman Demirel University.

Plagiarism and Originality Policy

In line with academic ethical standards, all submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using intihal.net before the review process begins.

Manuscripts with a similarity rate above 25% (excluding references) may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected before peer review.

Only original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere manuscripts are accepted.

Authors are responsible for ensuring the authenticity, originality, and ethical compliance of their research.

Copyright and Licensing Policy

The copyright of all articles published in SDU İFADE remains with the authors.

By submitting their manuscripts for publication, authors grant SDU İFADE the right to publish, archive, and distribute their work under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
