Akademik Tarih ve Düşünce Dergisi / Academic Journal of History and Idea is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the study of humanity in all its dimensions. Placing human concerns at the centre of its mission, Akademik Tarih ve Düşünce Dergisi / Academic Journal of History and Idea aims to disseminate original, high-quality, and internationally recognised research that contributes to a deeper understanding of historical, social, cultural, and intellectual phenomena. Since 2023, Akademik Tarih ve Düşünce Dergisi / Academic Journal of History and Idea has maintained a regular publication schedule, fostering a dynamic and sustained academic dialogue through the timely dissemination of scholarly work. As of 1 January 2026, Akademik Tarih ve Düşünce Dergisi / Academic Journal of History and Idea has adopted a continuous publication model, in line with contemporary standards of academic publishing and digital dissemination. Under this model, manuscripts that successfully complete the double-blind peer-review and editorial processes are published online immediately, without waiting for the completion of a specific issue. This approach enhances the timeliness, accessibility, and visibility of published research while fully preserving the journal’s commitment to academic rigour, ethical publishing principles, and editorial independence.
