Bio
I have completed my undergraduate education in Beykent University Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Department with a 45% scholarship in 2008 and I graduated as top student in the department and the third of school. Within the same year, I started working as a designer at Ciner Yayın Holding Haberturk. I actively took part in the publication of Gazete Haberturk. In 2011, I completed my master education in Istanbul Kültür University, Institute of Social Sciences, Communication Design Program with a thesis, which I was entitled as a 75% scholarship in 2009. My thesis titled as “Advertising Campaigns for the Solution of Social Problems: Examples of Narrative and Thematic Message Analysis”. As of the same year, I worked as a department manager and designer at Aljazeera Turk Television Creative Media Department within Aljazeera Network, a multinational company in the media industry.
The increase in my interest in communication during my master education made me look for new ways related to my career, causing me to reconsider my career. In fact, just a few years after this process, I left the media industry and headed for academia. I have been working as an instructor at Istanbul Bilgi University since March 2014. In addition to lecture within the scope of the graduation project in the relevant university, I also lecture on applied design courses and advertising analysis. Currently, I am at the thesis stage in Proficiency in Art degree of Istanbul Arel University Institute of Social Sciences, Graphic Design Program. I will present my thesis defense as of August.
