Bio
Ebru Arıkan Öztürk graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Civil Engineering in 1992. She completed the MSc at Gazi University, Department of Traffic Planning and Implementation in 1997 and completed the PhD at Gazi University, Department Environmental and Technical Research of Accidents in 2004. She attended a 2-month training program on road transportation in Japan in 2002. Between 2010 and 2015, she worked as a consultant in the “Road Safety 10” project carried out by the World Health Organization Turkey Office. She worked as an author in the 6th and 8th grade “Traffic and First Aid" books of the Ministry of National Education. She has many academic studies on road and traffic safety, urban transportation, and sustainable transport.
