The Journal of Case Law Analysis (JCLA) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually, in June and December, by the Faculty of Law at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University. The journal focuses on the systematic study and critical assessment of judicial decisions. It provides a scholarly platform for in-depth analyses of case law from both national and international jurisdictions, encouraging contributions that incorporate doctrinal, comparative, and theoretical approaches.
The primary aim of the journal is to deepen academic understanding of the role of courts in the development of law, as well as the broader implications of judicial reasoning for legal practice and theory. The Journal of Case Law Analysis seeks to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and contribute to the enrichment of global legal literature by bringing together diverse perspectives from scholars, practitioners, and researchers.
The journal welcomes analyses of all types of final judicial decisions. Accordingly, submissions may focus on judgments delivered by high courts such as the Constitutional Court, the Plenary Assembly of the Court of Cassation, the General Criminal or Civil Assemblies of the Court of Cassation, and the Plenary Session of the Chambers of the Council of State, as well as decisions of foreign or international courts, including the Federal Court or the International Court of Justice.
Articles written in Turkish, English, German, or French are accepted for publication.
