Prof. Arif Can Güngör, 1970 yılında İstanbul’da doğdu. İstanbul Üniversitesi, Edebiyat Fakültesi, Yabancı Diller Eğitimi, Fransız Dili Eğitimi Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. İstanbul Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi, Radyo-Televizyon-Sinema Bölümü’nde yüksek lisansını tamamladı. Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi Sinema Televizyon Anasanat Dalı’nda sanatta yeterlik yaptı. 2008-2024 yılları arasında İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi, Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi’nde Dekan Yardımcılığı görevini yapmış, Çizgi Film ve Animasyon Bölüm Başkanı olarak çalışmış. 2025 yılından aynı üniversitede Dekan Vekili olarak görev yapmaktadır.

2005 yılında Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi, Eğitim Fakültesi, Resim Öğretmenliği Bölümünden mezun oldu. 2009 yılında (Erasmus Programı) Fransa’da Lille şehrinde Tourcoing Ecole Regionale Superiore d’Expression de Plastique’ de (ERSEP) dersler aldı. 2010 yılında Mersin Üniversitesi, Güzel Sanatlar Enstitüsü, Resim Anasanat Dalı, Yüksek Lisans Programından mezun oldu. 2014 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi, Güzel Sanatlar Enstitüsü, Resim Anasanat Dalı, Sanatta Yeterlilik Programından mezun oldu. Halen Düzce Üniversitesi Sanat, Tasarım ve Mimarlık Fakültesi Resim Bölümünde çalışmaktadır. Yurt içi ve yurtdışında çeşitli karma sergi, festival, workshop ve sempozyumlara eserleriyle katılmıştır. Katıldığı bazı sergiler aşağıdadır.

Lisans ve Yüksek Lisans eğitimini Yeditepe Üniversitesi Mimarlık Bölümünde (%100 burslu) tamamlamış olup, Doktorasını İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Mimari Tasarım Anabilim Dalında tamamlamıştır. Post-Doc çalışmasını 2020 yılında Politecnico di Milano, Architecture and Urbanism programı altındaki TAU-Lab (Transnational Urbanism) araştırma enstitüsünde tamamlamış olup, halen Yeditepe Üniversitesi Mimarlık Bölümünde öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Araştırma alanları, mimarlık teorisi ve eleştirisi ile mekanın ekonomi-politiği üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır.
ÖZGEÇMİŞ
10 Ekim 1968 yılında Adana’da doğdu. Barbaros İlkokulu, Atatürk Ortaokulu, Adana Anadolu Borsa Lisesi, Gazi Üniversitesi (İletişim Fakültesi Sinema-TV Bölümü) kurumlarından mezun oldu.
Yüksek lisansını, Sinemada Diyalektik Kurgu (Sinemada Kurgu) başlıklı teziyle Gazi Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsünde tamamladı. Sinemada Şiirsel Anlatım başlıklı teziyle Ankara Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsünden Doktor-PhD, Sinemada Yaratıcı Yönetmen adlı kitabıyla Doçent unvanı aldı. Yükseköğretimde Hikâyeleştirme Yoluyla Öğretme ve Öğrenme Kuramı (Theory of Teaching and Learning in Higer Education) adlı çalışmasıyla, Higher Education Academy (In recognition of attainment against the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education) kapsamında taltif edil.
Öğrenciliği sürecinde yurtdışında çeşitli sinema okullarında konuk öğrenci statüsüyle bulundu. O sırada çektiği kısa filmleri, ulusal ve uluslararası (Ankara, Nürnberg, İran, Çekoslovakya, Amerika, Fransa vb.) film festivallerinde gösterildi ve ödüle değer bulundu.
TRT Ankara Televizyonu Drama Programları Müdürlüğünde (1998–2007) Yönetmen Yardımcısı (Cafer Özgül, Tülay Eratalay, Tomris Giritlioğlu, Ömer Kavur), Yapım Yardımcısı (Bünyamin Ersöz, Sinan Yaka) olarak çalıştı. Daha sonra TRT adına yönetmenliğini, yapımcılığını, senaristliğini yaptığı uzunlu kısalı (otuzun üzerinde) televizyon filmi üretti. Bu süreçte, Ankara Üniversitesinde ve Gazi Üniversitesinde Türk Dili, Belgesel, Göstergebilim, Kurmaca Film Yönetimi dersler verdi. TRT1 Dramalar Koordinatörü görevini yaparken, ailevi nedenlerle TRT Kurum’undan istifa ederek, Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Sinema-TV Bölüm Başkanı olarak Beykent Üniversitesi’ne geçti (2007).
Beykent Üniversitesinde görev yaparken, Sadri Alışık Kültür Merkezi, Yeni Yüzyıl Üniversitesi gibi kurumlarda Yönetmenlik, İleri Senaryo, Kısa Film I-II, Göstergebilim/Semiyoloji dersleri verdi. Senaryo Doktorluğu kavramını Türk sinema ve televizyon sektörüne yerleşmesini sağlayarak; sayısız uluslararası ve ulusal düzeyde sinema filmi ve televizyon dizisinin senaryo doktorluğunu yaptı.
İki dönem Sinema–TV Bölüm Başkanlığı ve Sinema–TV Anabilim Dalı Sinema-TV Anasanat Dalı Başkanlığı görevlerinde bulunduğu Beykent Üniversitesi GSF Sinema–TV Bölümünde halen öğretim üyesidir.

Prof. Dr. Devrim Özkan, doktorasını radyo ve televizyon anabilim dalında yapmış olup, doçentliğini ise iletişim çalışmaları alanında almıştır. İngiltere’deki University of Buckingham’da araştırmalarda bulunmuştur. Dr. Özkan’ın çok sayıda kitabı, ulusal ve uluslararası dergilerde pek çok makalesi bulunmaktadır.

Ferhat Özgür studied in the Department of Painting and Crafts at Ankara Gazi University, (Faculty of Education) from 1985 to 1989. After graduating he obtained concurrently a Master’s degree (1992) and a PhD degree in Art (1993) in the Faculty
of Fine Arts, (Painting Department), Hacettepe University, Ankara. Özgür was appointed to the same department in Hacettepe University as a Research Assistant in 1994 and later served as a full time professor until 2010, teaching “Painting Workshop”, “Drawing”, “Contemporary Art Problems”, “Experimental Art” and “Art Criticism”. He then moved to Istanbul where he worked initially as the Head of Department in the Multimedia Department at the Culture University (Kültür Üniversitesi). Then, as a full time professor, between 2013-2017 he taught both applied and theoretical lessons such as “Art Works Analyses”, “Drawing”, “Painting Workshop” and “Art Criticism” for Master and Phd students in the Department of Art
Management at Seven Hills University (Yeditepe Üniversitesi) in Istanbul where, again, he was the Head of Department. Since 2017 he has been teaching in Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture for the Master and PhD students. Alongside his artistic practice he has also published numerous articles, exhibition and book reviews in various periodicals and newspapers in Turkey, Özgür has written two books entitled “Contemporary Turkish Painters: Turan Erol” (published by Yapı Kredi, 1995, Turkish - English summary included) and “Documentary, Short Film and Video Art” (published by Doruk Yayıncılık, 2017, Turkish). He is a member of both AICA (Association Internationale des Critiques; Art) and the
boarding committee of the Cultural Policy Yearbook published by Laureate University (Bilgi Üniversitesi).

Prof. Dr. Selahattin Yıldız 1962, Kırklareli doğumlu. 1985 yılında Anadolu Üniversitesi Sinema-TV Bölümü’nü tez filmi olarak çektiği “Lületaşı” belgeseli ile tamamladı. 1985-1987 arasında çeşitli video filmlerde teknik yönetmenlik, kurguculuk ve yardımcı yönetmenlik yaptı. 1986 yılında Araştırma Görevlisi olarak girdiği Marmara Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Sinema TV Bölümü’nde 1997 yılında Doçent, 2003 yılında Profesör oldu. 1998-2005 yılları arasında Bölüm Başkanlığı yapan Yıldız, 2010 yılında Dekan Yardımcısı olarak görevde bulundu. 2012-2013 yılları arasında Maltepe Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Dekanı olarak görev yapan Yıldız, 2013 yılından bu yana Maltepe Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Dekanı olarak görev yapmaktadır. Hakemli ve hakemsiz çeşitli sinema dergilerinde yayınlanmış 47 makalesi bulunan Yıldız’ın sinema dili üzerine yazılmış “Sinematografik Anlatım” ve “Kurgunun Dili” adlı iki kitabı vardır.
Born in 1977 in Ankara. He graduated from Istanbul Kabatas Erkek High School in 1994 and from Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Department in 1999. He worked in various advertising agencies in Izmir during his student years and in Istanbul after graduation.
He started working as a Research Assistant at Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Department in 2002. He made studies on graphic design abroad and participated in various events.
He completed the Proficiency in Art program in 2008. He worked as an author and editor in Graphic Design magazine between 2006-2009. He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2016. Carried out administrative duties such as vice dean and member of the board of directors.
He continues his design studies and academic research in the fields of corporate identity design, exhibition design, wayfinding and signage design.
He is married with two children.

Gökçek, şu an Marmara Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Radyo, TV ve Sinema bölümünde öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır.
Aim & Scope
Tykhe Journal of Art and Design (e-ISSN: 2667-6818) is an international peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (December, June) by Düzce University Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture.
Published electronically, Tykhe Journal of Art and Design aims to contribute to academic discussions and the body of knowledge in the fields of art and design by bringing together original research, reviews, and evaluations conducted in these areas.
Tykhe Journal of Art and Design welcomes practice-based approaches, methods, experiences, theoretical studies, and interdisciplinary research in the fields of art and design. The journal publishes articles in various disciplines, including cinema, performing arts, music, architecture, design, plastic arts, art history, and aesthetics.
Additionally, Tykhe Journal of Art and Design includes translated texts that are considered to contribute to research, theoretical discussions, and the academic environment concerning art and design in Turkey.
The publication languages of the journal are Turkish and English.

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
Tykhe Journal of Art and Design adheres to national and international ethical principles concerning Publication Ethics, Research Ethics, and the Acquisition of Legal/Special Permissions. The ethical guidelines listed below are based on the principles published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process are required to comply with these rules.
Publication Ethics
Authors, editors, and reviewers involved in the evaluation and publication process of articles submitted to Tykhe Journal of Art and Design are deemed to have accepted the ethical rules outlined under separate headings for each stakeholder.
Articles submitted to Tykhe Journal of Art and Design must be original and contribute to scientific and artistic knowledge. The journal only accepts works that have not been published elsewhere.
A double-blind peer review process is applied. Submitted articles are evaluated by two reviewers. If one review is positive and the other is negative, a third reviewer’s opinion may be sought. The decision to send the article to a third reviewer and the final publication decision rest with the Editor-in-Chief. Editors may request revisions to align the work with the journal's principles.
The same author cannot publish multiple articles in a single issue. Additionally, an author may not publish a second article in consecutive issues and must wait for the next issue.
Authors' Ethical Responsibilities
The submitted work must not be under simultaneous review by another journal.
The authorship list must be complete and accurate, ensuring that all listed authors have directly contributed to the work.
If the article is derived from an unpublished conference paper, thesis, or presentation, this must be clearly stated. Authors should avoid republishing the same content without proper citation.
Authors must properly cite all sources within the text and in the references section.
Authors must consider reviewers' and editors' feedback for publication. The final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
If authors detect errors in their published work, they must inform the journal and request a correction or retraction if necessary.
No royalties or financial compensation is provided to authors. All copyright rights belong to Tykhe Journal of Art and Design, and published articles cannot be reproduced or published elsewhere without permission.
Editors’ and Associate Editors’ Ethical Responsibilities
Editors are responsible for ensuring the publication of scientifically sound articles, maintaining a double-blind peer review process, and enforcing ethical principles.
Editors must keep all information related to submitted articles confidential.
Editors must take measures against plagiarism and ensure that articles are reviewed by qualified reviewers in an impartial and independent manner.
In deciding on the publication of an article, editors must consider the originality of the work, its contribution to science and art, the validity of the research methods, the clarity of the presentation, and the journal's scope.
Editors must transmit reviewers' feedback to authors without modification, as long as it does not contain offensive or defamatory language.
Editors must acknowledge reviewers’ contributions and handle authors’ objections to negative reviews with fairness, possibly seeking additional opinions if justified.
Editors must ensure that submissions from authors affiliated with the journal are evaluated fairly and transparently.
Reviewers’ Ethical Responsibilities
Reviewers must complete their evaluations within the given timeframe.
Reviewers should only accept articles relevant to their area of expertise.
Reviewers must keep all information regarding the manuscript confidential.
Reviews must be conducted with academic rigor and objectivity, free from bias.
If a reviewer detects that the article has been previously published or shares significant similarities with another work, they must notify the editorial board.
Reviewers should provide constructive feedback in an academic manner, avoiding derogatory or humiliating comments.
If a reviewer identifies a conflict of interest, they must decline the review and inform the Editor-in-Chief.
Reviewers acknowledge that the final decision regarding publication belongs to the Editor-in-Chief.
Research Ethics
Researchers must not fabricate, manipulate, or misrepresent data, findings, or evaluations. Information, findings, or opinions belonging to others cannot be used without proper citation.
The data, sources, and findings underlying a study should be accessible to other researchers for verification and future use while adhering to confidentiality principles.
Individuals who did not contribute meaningfully to the research cannot be listed as authors, and the order of authorship should be determined by their contributions.
If a study was funded or supported by an institution, this must be explicitly stated in the manuscript. Any potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed.
A Conflict of Interest Statement must be included at the end of the article if applicable.
Authors must comply with copyright regulations regarding the use of intellectual and artistic works.
Authors must obtain the necessary ethics committee approvals for their research.
Legal/Special Permissions
For studies requiring ethics committee approval, details of the approval (including the granting institution, date, and approval number) must be explicitly stated in the Methods section and on the first page of the manuscript. The types of research requiring ethics approval include:
Studies involving data collection from participants through surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations, or experiments using qualitative or quantitative methods.
Studies involving human or animal subjects for experimental or scientific purposes.
Clinical research involving human subjects.
Research on animals.
Retrospective studies involving personal data, in compliance with data protection laws.
Additionally, authors must obtain permission for the use of third-party scales, questionnaires, or photographs and provide documentation within the manuscript.
Manuscript Evaluation Process
Submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief and associate editors to ensure compliance with journal policies and formatting guidelines.
If deemed appropriate, the manuscript is assigned to a field editor who oversees the double-blind peer review process. Two reviewers assess the work, and if both provide positive feedback, the article is approved for publication by the Editor-in-Chief and scheduled for an upcoming issue. Authors are informed of the decision accordingly.
Since April 1, 2019, all manuscripts submitted to Tykhe Journal of Art and Design undergo a plagiarism check using Turnitin and iThenticate software. Articles with a similarity index of 15% or higher are rejected without review. If necessary, the editorial board may conduct additional plagiarism checks.
Manuscripts that do not comply with formatting guidelines are not considered for review.
