Dr. Serkan DÜZGÜN is an Assistant Professor at Division of Classroom Instruction Education at Gazi University, where he received his Ph.D. degree in 2015. He worked in the fields of Open Learning and Educational Technologies at the Ministry of National Education, Turkiye for many years. He gave lectures on Media and Culture at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Faculty of Communication and he also gave lectures on Social Media Communication at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Department of Child Development. He gives lectures on Open and Distance Learning, Classroom Management and Web 2.0 at Gazi University. He also founded and directed the educational Social Security Institution TV channel. He founded and directed the Voice of Turkish Radio to teach Turkish to foreigners. His main research interests are primarily in the areas of teaching and learning in open and distance education environments, technology adoption in education, eye tracking, human-computer interaction, design and use of technology-enhanced learning environments, and mobile learning.
