Dear Authors,

You can access our journal template here.

Please prepare your manuscript using the template, in Century Schoolbook font, 12 point size, with single (1.0) line spacing. When submitting a manuscript to our journal, the following must be uploaded together with the manuscript:

• 📝 JCSS_Publication_Agreement.doc 
• The similarity report obtained via iThenticate,
• The Ethics Committee Approval Document, for studies that require ethics committee approval.
• JCSS has updated its citation style to APA 7.

The iThenticate similarity index of the submitted manuscript must not exceed 20%. In addition, author names and details must not be included in the manuscript at submission.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: In-text citations and the reference list must be created using Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote or Word’s built-in citation tool (References > Citations & Bibliography). Manuscripts submitted without citations created in one of these tools will be rejected directly.

Points to Note When Entering Information in the DergiPark Interface

1- Complete both the Turkish and English fields for all required information, such as the abstract, title and keywords.

2- When entering the article title, capitalize only the first letter of each word. (E.g., Being the Voice of Disadvantaged Species in Digital Communication Media)

3- Enter your complete reference list in the DergiPark interface. Make sure these references match the in-text citations, with no missing or extra entries.

4- Enter the author details, author order and ORCID information correctly.

5- Make sure that your article title matches the study title in the ethics committee report by at least 80%.

6- Make sure that your article title does not exceed 12 words. (Contact the editors if this is unavoidable.)

7- Make sure that your references comply with APA 7 format and that the page numbers, volume, issue and other details are correct. Always check any reference details imported from Google Scholar.

8- Manuscripts that do not follow points 1–7 above will be returned to the author for “resubmission” before the peer review process begins.
