The Journal of Communication and Social Studies publishes Turkish and English studies that have been produced in compliance with the journal's established publication criteria and spelling rules and have passed the refereeing process. The scientific and legal responsibility of the papers published in the journal, for which the Editorial Board has the ability to refuse, to publish or return articles to the author for correction if they do not conform with the publication and spelling guidelines. The writers are responsible for the scientific and legal content of the published publications. The iThenticate tool compares studies submitted to The Journal of Communication and Social Studies for similarity.

Each article accepted by peer review is made freely available online immediately upon publication, is published under a Creative Commons license and will be hosted online in perpetuity. There is no charge for submitting a paper to the journal.
