Manuscript Preparation
Authors must prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s formatting and submission standards. Submissions that do not comply with these guidelines will be returned without review.
Online Submission Requirement
Manuscripts can only be submitted via the journal’s official online submission system:
https://dergipark.org.tr/en/journal/2032/submission/step/manuscript/new
Submissions by email or through third parties (other than one of the authors) will not be evaluated under any circumstances.
Manuscript Template and Format
All manuscripts must be prepared using the official Manuscript Template (Word format) available on the
Templates and Forms page. The manuscript must be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
The title page must include:
- Full names of all authors
- Institutional affiliations
- Email addresses and ORCID IDs
Structure of the manuscript:
- Title
- Abstract (300–400 words)
- Keywords (3–6 terms)
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgments (if applicable)
- Conflict of Interest Statement
- References (APA 7th Edition)
Referencing must follow the APA 7th Edition. For detailed guidance, see:

Initial Technical Evaluation
All submissions are first reviewed by the editorial office for compliance with the journal’s technical requirements (format, structure, supporting files, metadata, etc.).
Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements will be returned to the corresponding author for correction before peer review.
Required Documents
Authors must upload the following supporting documents separately during submission:
- Manuscript File: Prepared using the official template in Word format.
- Copyright and License Agreement: Signed by all authors. Authors from different institutions may submit individually signed copies. Upload as PDF.
- Ethics Statement and Approval Form: Required for research involving humans or animals. Ethical approval must also be mentioned in the manuscript text.

Figures, Tables, and Formatting
- Embed tables and figures near their first mention in the text.
- Number tables/figures sequentially; include titles above tables and below figures.
- Use high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi).
- Avoid duplicating the same data in both tables and figures.
Units and Abbreviations
- Use SI (International System of Units) consistently.
- Define all abbreviations at first use.
- Italicize scientific names (e.g., Vitis vinifera).
Language Quality
Manuscripts must be written in clear, fluent, and professional academic English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to use professional editing services before submission.
Pre-Submission Checklist
- Manuscript prepared using the official journal template
- Word file format (.doc or .docx)
- Title page includes author names, affiliations, and ORCID IDs
- References formatted according to APA 7th Edition
- Ethics approval obtained (if required) and stated in the manuscript
- All supporting documents uploaded (Author Declaration, Ethics Form, Suggested Reviewers)
- Manuscript and submission metadata are complete
