Manuscript Preparation

Authors must prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s formatting and submission standards. Submissions that do not comply with these guidelines will be returned without review.

Online Submission Requirement
Manuscripts can only be submitted via the journal’s official online submission system:
https://dergipark.org.tr/en/journal/2032/submission/step/manuscript/new
Submissions by email or through third parties (other than one of the authors) will not be evaluated under any circumstances.

Manuscript Template and Format
All manuscripts must be prepared using the official Manuscript Template (Word format) available on the Templates and Forms page. The manuscript must be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
The manuscript must include the following information on the title page:
- Full names of all authors
- Institutional affiliations
- Email addresses and ORCID IDs

Structure of the manuscript:
1. Title
2. Abstract (150–250 words)
3. Keywords (3–6 terms)
4. Introduction
5. Materials and Methods
6. Results
7. Discussion
8. Conclusion
9. Acknowledgments (if applicable)
10. Conflict of Interest Statement
11. References (APA 7th Edition)

Initial Technical Evaluation
All submissions are first reviewed by the editorial office for compliance with the journal’s technical requirements (format, structure, supporting files, metadata, etc.). Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements will be returned to the corresponding author for correction before being considered for peer review.

Required Documents
Authors must upload the following documents as separate supporting files during the submission process:
- Manuscript File: Prepared using the journal’s official template in Word format.
- Author Declaration (Copyright): Form
Must be signed by all authors. Authors from different institutions may submit individually signed copies. Scanned documents should be uploaded as PDF.
- Ethics Statement and Approval Form:
Mandatory for research involving human participants or animals. Ethical approval must also be mentioned in the manuscript.
- Suggested Reviewers Form:
Authors are encouraged to suggest five potential reviewers from different institutions, including full name, institution, email, and area of expertise.

Figures, Tables, and Formatting
- Embed tables and figures within the manuscript close to their first mention.
- Number each table/figure sequentially and include clear titles (above tables, below figures).
- Use high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi).
- Avoid repeating the same data in both tables and figures.

Units and Abbreviations
- Use SI (International System of Units) consistently.
- Define all abbreviations at first use.
- Use italics for scientific names (e.g., Vitis vinifera).

Language Quality
Manuscripts must be written in clear, fluent, and professional academic English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to use professional language editing services before submission.

Pre-Submission Checklist
- Manuscript prepared using the official journal template
- Word file format (.doc or .docx)
- Title page includes author names, affiliations, and ORCID IDs
- References formatted according to APA 7th Edition
- Ethics approval obtained (if required) and stated in the manuscript
- All supporting documents uploaded (Author Declaration, Ethics Form, Suggested Reviewers)
- Manuscript and submission metadata are complete
