The KADEM Journal of Women’s Studies is an open-access journal published by the Women and Democracy Association (KADEM) and adheres to a double-blind peer review policy.

The journal is published twice a year, in June and December, in both English and Turkish.

The journal does not charge any fees at any stage of the article publication process.

Publisher Information
Since its founding on March 8, 2013, KADEM (Women and Democracy Association) has been working to build a safe society and a just future in which women can live with dignity. It is a non-governmental organization that advocates the principle of “equality in existence, justice in responsibility.” KADEM aims to develop applicable and sustainable solutions to issues concerning women’s rights and the family, and to promote a justice-oriented discourse. It seeks to strengthen the representation of women in all areas of social life.
