Prof. Dr. Kadir Turan, 2000 yılında Fırat Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliği Bölümü'nden lisans mezunu olmuştur. 2003 yılında yüksek lisansını, 2009 yılında ise doktorasını Fırat Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Makine Mühendisliği Ana Bilim Dalı, Mekanik Programı’nda tamamlamıştır.
Akademik kariyerine 2007 yılında Dicle Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliği Bölümü'nde araştırma görevlisi olarak başlamıştır. 2011 yılında Yrd. Doç. Dr. kadrosuna atanmış; 2014 yılında ise ÜAK (Üniversitelerarası Kurul) tarafından yapılan değerlendirme sonucunda Doçent unvanını almaya hak kazanmıştır.
2020 yılında, Dicle Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliği Bölümü, Mekanik Anabilim Dalı'na Profesör olarak atanmış ve halen bu görevini sürdürmektedir.
Prof. Dr. Kadir Turan, makine ve yapı mühendisliği alanlarında çok sayıda bilimsel yayın, proje ve akademik çalışmaya katkı sunmuştur. Akademik çalışmaları; malzeme davranışı, hesaplamalı modelleme, uygulamalı mekanik ve yapı analizi gibi konulara odaklanmaktadır.
Visiting Professor at Oxford University, Dr. Idris Bedirhanoglu, who holds Bachelor and MSc degrees in Civil Engineering, got his Ph.D. from Istanbul Technical University with a co-advisor from Purdue University where he did a part of his PhD. He has been a Professor of Structural Engineering at Dicle University since March 2023. He worked as a Research Scientist at the Engineering Faculty of New York University Abu Dhabi in 2018-2019. He is the author/co-author of more than 40 journals (SCI or SCIE) or international conference papers and a co-author of four book chapters. He is on the Editorial Board of M. of J. of World Architecture and Engineering News (2014-2016), and a reviewer of more than 20 journals (SCI or SCIE). He is skilled in structural analysis, particularly in evaluating existing structures and retrofitting. As well, he has provided consultancy to more than 100 industrial projects. He has served as a member of the Technical Delegation to Evaluate Objections to Risky Building Detections (Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, General Directorates for Environment and Urbanization), vice chair of the Civil Engineering Department at Dicle University (2018-2019) and chair of the structural engineering laboratory (2010-2018). His main research interests include seismic design and evaluation of RC and historical structures, retrofitting buildings with FRP composites or textile fibers, recycling concrete, nondestructive testing, fuzzy logic, and finite element analysis.
Abdulkadir Albayrak is post-doctoral research fellow at Computational Pathology and AI, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He received his BS, MS and PhD degrees all in Computer Engineering. He worked as a research assistant at the Department of Computer Engineering at Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey between 2011-2019. He is curently Assoc. Prof. Dr. at the Department of Computer Engineering at Dicle University. He mainly works on computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning and generative AI.
Resul Daş is a full professor in the Department of Software Engineering at the Faculty of Technology, Fırat University. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from Fırat University in 1999 and 2002, respectively, and completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2008. Between 2000 and 2011, he served as a lecturer in the Department of Informatics and worked as a network and system administrator at the University's IT Center. Since 2002, he has been an instructor in the Cisco Networking Academy Program, teaching CCNA and CCNP courses. From September 2017 to June 2018, he researched as a visiting professor at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, under the TÜBİTAK-BİDEB 2219 Postdoctoral Research Fellowship program. He served as Head of the Department of Software Engineering from March 2020 to April 2023.
Prof. Daş has held editorial roles in several prestigious academic journals. He was an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and the Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Currently, he serves as an Associate Editor for Elsevier journals (Internet of Things, Alexandria Engineering Journal, and Telematics and Informatics Reports), IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society (OJ-COMS), and the International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing (Inderscience). Globally recognized for his contributions, Prof. Daş has been included in the top 2\% of the "World's Most Influential Scientists" list, compiled by Stanford University researchers, for five consecutive years (2019–2023). His research interests encompass computer networks, cybersecurity, IoT and systems engineering, data science and visualization, software quality assurance, and testing.
Dicle Üniversitesi'nden Elektrik-Elektronik Mühendisliği alanında 2017 yılında yüksek lisans derecesini, 2023 yılında doktora derecesini aldı. 2025 yılında Wake Forest University School of Medicine Center for Artificial Intelligence Research'de PostDoc derecesi aldı. Şuan Dicle Üniversitesi'nden Elektrik-Elektronik Mühendisliği bölümünde Dr. Öğr. Üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Araştırma ilgi alanları arasında Medikal Görüntü İşleme, Derin Öğrenme, Makine Öğrenmesi, Tıbbi Bilişim, Dijital Patoloji yer almaktadır.
