Dr. Barış Eriçok is a faculty member at Ordu University, Faculty of Education. He holds a BA in English Language Teaching, an MA in Educational Administration, and a PhD in Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning, and Economics from Hacettepe University. His doctoral research focused on the internationalization policies of higher education in Türkiye. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the University College of Teacher Education Vienna (Pädagogische Hochschule Wien), Austria. His research interests include internationalization of higher education, educational leadership, international mobility, quality assurance, academic brain drain, and the implications of artificial intelligence for education. Dr. Eriçok actively contributes to national and international academic journals as an author and reviewer and is open to interdisciplinary research collaborations. Contact: barisericok[at]gmail.com
Assist. Prof. Mustafa Cihan YARALI
He was born on July 2, 1980 in Diyarbakır. He began his music education at Diyarbakır Anatolian Fine Arts High School in 1994. He began his undergraduate education at Gazi University, Faculty of Fine Arts Education, Department of Music Education in 1998. In 2003, he entered the Gazi University Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Music Education and completed his master's program in 2005. After being accepted to the Selçuk University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Music Education PhD program the same year, he graduated in 2010 and received his doctorate. During his cello education, he had the opportunity to work with State Artist Lecturer Tayfun KARAKELLE, State Artist Lecturer Şinasi ÇİLDEN, and Assoc. Prof. İzzet NAZLIAKA. He gave various group and solo concerts at home and abroad. Emin Erdem KAYA, who began his professional life by teaching at institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, worked as a lecturer at the Department of Music Education at Selçuk University between 2005 and 2011. There, he taught cello and chamber music at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as orchestra, musical hearing, reading, and writing. In 2011, he was appointed as an assistant professor at the Department of Music and Performing Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Nevşehir Hacıbektaş Veli University. Having received the title of Associate Professor in 2017, Prof. Dr. E. Erdem KAYA currently continues his professional life at the Department of Music Education, Faculty of Education, Nevşehir Hacıbektaş Veli University, and teaches cello, musical hearing-reading-writing, orchestra and Turkish music polyphony.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haktan KAPLAN was born in 1991 in Ankara, Türkiye. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Ankara. In 2009, he was admitted to the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Letters, Selçuk University, and graduated in 2013. After graduation, he worked as a Turkish Language and Literature teacher at Konya Dr. Ali Rıza Bahadır Anatolian Imam Hatip High School for one year. In 2014, he was appointed as a lecturer at the Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center (SÜ-TÖMER) of Selçuk University. During his tenure, he both taught Turkish to foreign students and served as the education coordinator of the same institution between 2017 and 2020.
In 2016, Haktan Kaplan received his master’s degree from the Institute of Social Sciences at Necmettin Erbakan University under the supervision of retired Asst. Prof. Dr. Aziz AYVA with a thesis titled “Brother and Brotherhood in the Epics of the Turkic World.” He completed his doctoral studies at the same university and institute under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Selçuk PEKER with his dissertation titled “Shrines and Places of Pilgrimage in the Folk Culture of Bolu and Düzce.” Since 2021, he has been working as a Lecturer (PhD) at the Department of Turkish Language, Selçuk University, and continues his academic research in the same department. In March 2023, he applied to the Interuniversity Council of Türkiye and was awarded the title of Associate Professor on July 20, 2023.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haktan Kaplan is the author of four scholarly books and two textbooks. In addition, he has contributed thirteen book chapters, fifteen articles published in national and international journals, and has served as the editor of four academic books. He has also presented, twenty papers at various national and international symposiums over the years.
Married and the father of one child, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haktan KAPLAN currently serves as the Head of the Department of Turkish Language at Selçuk University, continuing his academic and administrative duties.

Author Guidelines
Articles to be sent to the journal must be written in a Windows environment and in new versions of MS Word. The graphics used in the text should be sent in a graphic format that can be opened in a Windows environment, and the photographs should be sent in photo format.
Articles submitted for publication must be between 3500-8000 words, excluding abstract, bibliography and extended summary.

Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Journal of ISS attaches high importance to open access guidelines and policies of the Committee on Publication Ethics, such as the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors" and "COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors." SBE Journal carefully follows the basic practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in the context of ethics (authorship and contributorship; "conflict of interest" and "journal management"). The editors of the ISS Journal meticulously examine the compliance of submitted studies with ethical principles. They take drastic measures to detect and prevent the publication of articles in which research abuse occurs, so that they do not encourage or knowingly allow such abuse to occur. If the editors of the Journal of ISS detect violations of ethical principles (such as the manipulation of the data used or the use of fabricated data), this situation is reported to the institution where the article author works, and the article is not accepted for publication. The journal of ISS and its editors are always ready to issue corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies as needed.Authors have the right to request retraction, refutation, or correction of articles at any time before publication. However, they can request the retraction or correction of their article within five days after it has been published in an issue.Ethical Responsibilities of Editors, Assistant Editors, and Field Editors
The editors and assistant editors of the Journal of ISS are responsible for everything published in the journal, including choosing the articles to be published in the journal. The editorial board and/or field editors of the journal guide the editor while making these choices, and the editor also takes into account the journal's publication policies in this process. In the selection of the articles to be published, the editor or assistant editors make evaluations according to their intellectual content, regardless of the gender, race, ethnic origin, religion, citizenship, and political values of the author. SBE Journal's editors and assistant editors never discriminate against authors, editors, or reviewers based on personal characteristics or identities. Rather, it embraces diversity and promotes equality at all stages of evaluation and publication. The editors and assistant editors of the Journal of ISS do not allow the use of unpublished material and other information and data in the texts submitted by the author(s) to the journal by anyone in their own work without the express and written permission of the author(s).As can be understood from the statements mentioned above, the editors and assistant editors of the Journal of ISS meticulously comply with the conflict of interest, objectivity, confidentiality, and other issues determined in COPE.Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers
The referees who are requested to review/evaluate the work assigned to them by the editors and assistant editors of the Journal of ISS may refuse to act as referees if they do not find the work assigned to them relevant to their field, do not find themselves competent to criticize, or cannot present a timely evaluation.The referees will evaluate the articles as confidential files. For this reason, referees should not show the articles to anyone other than authorized people and should not discuss the articles. Information and ideas obtained during the arbitration process should not be used for personal gain.Refereeing should be done in an objective, fair, and scientific manner. Reviewers should not criticize the authors personally and should avoid derogatory personal comments such as slander and insults. Reviewers should evaluate works regardless of the origin, gender, or political philosophy of the authors. Reviewers should also ensure a fair, blind peer review process for the review of manuscripts submitted to the journal.During the peer-review process, if the referees notice a great deal of similarity or overlap between the article they are evaluating and another article, they should immediately notify the editors.Reviewers should not evaluate papers where they know or guess the author or where there are conflicts of interest that may arise due to competition, cooperation, or any other relationship or connection between them.During the peer-review process, the referees should assist the editor in editing and/or publishing the articles and should also assist the authors in order to increase the quality of the article.Ethical Responsibilities of Authors
Articles sent to the Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Journal of ISS must be original. The articles must not have been previously published in another journal or submitted for evaluation in another journal. Submitting the same study to more than one journal at the same time is unethical and unacceptable. It is extremely important for the authors to pay attention to these issues. Authors who submit articles to the Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Journal of ISS are deemed to have committed the above issues. The data used in the study should be presented meticulously in the study. A study should contain sufficient detail and source information. Fraudulent and deliberate false statements are unacceptable, as they may lead to unethical situations. In addition, authors must strictly comply with the writing rules of the journal. The authors should meticulously make the changes requested by the referee, assistant editors, language editor, or editor-in-chief. Additional documents requested by the editor or referees should be uploaded to the system. In cases where the requested changes are not made within the given time period, the articles will be returned to the author without being re-evaluated.Authors may be asked to provide relevant raw data that may be needed during evaluation in connection with their work, so they should be prepared to provide access to this data and retain it for a reasonable period of time following publication of their work.Authors should prove with documents that their work is original and conforms to ethical standards. In this context, authors should make direct or indirect citations according to APA standards and add the references to the bibliography section. In addition, authors should prove with a Turnitin or Identicate report that the similarity rate of their work is below 20% while uploading their work to the system.An author who publishes in the Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Journal of ISS can publish again in the next one year as per the journal policy. In addition, a maximum of 25% of the number of publications in any volume of the Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Journal of ISS can be made by the staff of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University.Authors submitting a study to the Journal of ISS should list the authors who contributed to the study after the first author in the contribution rate. In addition, the authors are obliged to declare that there is no conflict of interest among themselves. - It is necessary to list authors according to their contribution rate.
- The works of the authors must be original, and the similarity rate must be below 20%.
- There mustn’t be an ethical violation regarding the participants used in the study, and ethical permissions must be obtained in accordance with the "Higher Education Institution Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive" and the ethical report must be uploaded to the system.
- In articles that do not require an ethical report, the authors undertake to sign and upload the document showing that their work does not require an ethical report.

Bursa Zeki Müren Güzel Sanatlar Lisesinde Görsel Sanatlar Öğretmeni ve Talim Terbiye Kurulunda Türkiye Geneli Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi ders kitap yazımında görev yapmıştır. Bandırma Onyedi Eylül Üniversitesi, Sanat, Tasarım ve Mimarlık Fakültesi. Grafik Tasarımı Bölümünde Dr. Öğr. Üyesi olarak görevine devam etmektedir. Ulusal ve uluslararası birçok karma, kişisel sergiler, sempozyum, workshop, çalıştay ve kongrelere katılmıştır.

02.07.1980 tarihinde Diyarbakır’da doğdu. 1994 yılında Diyarbakır Anadolu Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi’nde müzik eğitimine başladı. 1998 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda lisans eğitimine başladı. 2003 yılında girdiği Gazi Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü Müzik Eğitimi Bilim Dalı yüksek lisans programını 2005 yılında tamamladıktan sonra aynı sene Selçuk Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Müzik Eğitimi Bilim Dalı doktora programına kabul edildi ve 2010 yılında buradan mezun olarak doktor unvanını aldı. Viyolonsel eğitimi süresince Devlet Sanatçısı Öğr. Gör. Tayfun KARAKELLE, Devlet Sanatçısı Öğr. Gör. Şinasi ÇİLDEN ve Doç. İzzet NAZLIAKA ile çalışma fırsatı buldu. Yurt içi ve yurt dışında çeşitli karma ve kişisel konser etkinlikleri gerçekleştirdi. Meslek hayatına Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı kurumlarda öğretmenlik yaparak başlayan Emin Erdem KAYA, 2005-2011 yılları arasında Selçuk Üniversitesi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda Öğretim Görevlisi olarak görev yaptı. Burada lisans ve yüksek lisans düzeyinde Viyolonsel ve Oda Müziği derslerinin yanı sıra, Orkestra, Müziksel İşitme, Okuma ve Yazma derslerini de yürüttü. 2011 yılında Nevşehir Hacıbektaş Veli Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Müzik ve Sahne Sanatları Bölümü’ne Doktor Öğretim Üyesi olarak atandı. 2017 yılında Doçent unvanını alan Prof. Dr. E. Erdem KAYA halen Nevşehir Hacıbektaş Veli Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda meslek hayatına devam etmekte olup viyolonsel, müziksel işitme-okuma-yazma, orkestra ve Türk müziği çokseslendirme derslerini yürütmektedir.

Doç. Dr. Haktan KAPLAN, 1991 yılında Ankara’da dünyaya gelmiştir. İlk, orta ve lise eğitimini Ankara’da tamamlamıştır. 2009 yılında Selçuk Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı bölümünü kazanmıştır. Aynı bölümünden 2013 yılında mezun olmuştur. Mezun olduktan sonra bir yıl Konya Dr. Ali Rıza Bahadır Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesinde Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı öğretmenliği yapmıştır. 2014 yılında Selçuk Üniversitesi Türkçe Öğretimi Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezinde (SÜ-TÖMER) öğretim görevlisi kadrosuna atanmıştır. Kaplan, bu kadroda hem yabancılara Türkçe öğretimi yapmış hem de 2017-2020 yılları arasında aynı birimde eğitim koordinatörlüğü görevini üstlenmiştir.
Haktan Kaplan, 2016 yılında Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü bünyesinde; emekli Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Aziz AYVA danışmanlığında hazırladığı “Türk Dünyası Destanlarında Kardeş ve Kardeşlik” başlıklı yüksek lisans tezi ile uzmanlık derecesini almıştır. Yine aynı üniversite ve enstitü çatısında Prof. Dr. Selçuk PEKER danışmanlığında “Bolu ve Düzce Halk Kültüründe Türbeler ve Ziyaret Yerleri” başlıklı doktora tezi mezun olmuş ve doktora derecesini almıştır. 2021 yılından itibaren Selçuk Üniversitesi Türk Dili Bölümü başkanlığında Öğr. Gör. Dr. olarak çalışmaya başlamış ve halen bu görevini yürütmeye ve akademik çalışmalarına devam etmektedir. Kaplan, Mart 2023’te üniversitelerarası kurula başvuru yaparak 20.07.2023 tarihinde “doçent” ünvanına layık görülmüştür.
Doç. Dr. Haktan Kaplan’ın dört bilimsel kitabı, iki ders kitabı bulunmaktadır. Bunun yanında on üç kitap bölümü, ulusal ve uluslararası dergilerde yayımlanmış on beş makalesi ve dört bilimsel kitap editörlüğü bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca Kaplan’ın farklı yıllarda ulusal ve uluslararası sempozyumlarda yirmi de bildirisi mevcuttur. Evli ve bir çocuk babası olan Doç. Dr. Haktan KAPLAN hâlen Selçuk Üniversitesi Türk Dili Bölümü Başkanlığında görev yapmaktadır.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Mithat ÜNER, Ankara’da doğmuştur. İlk, orta ve lise öğrenimini T.E.D. Ankara Koleji’nde tamamlayan Üner, lisans eğitimini ise Hacettepe Üniversitesi İ.İ.B.F. İşletme Yönetimi Bölümü’nde almıştır. Yüksek lisansını “Genel İşletme” alanında Gazi Üniversitesi bünyesinde yaptıktan sonra, M.Sc.-University of Wisconsin’de “Internatinal Business” alanında da master programını tamamlamıştır. Gazi Üniversitesi, Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, İşletme Anabilim Dalında doktorasını almıştır. İtalya’da Pisa Üniversitesi’nde, İşletme Bölümü’nde doktora sonrası çalışmalar gerçekleştirmiştir. 1984 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi, Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü’nde Araştırma Görevlisi olarak çalışmaya başlayan Üner, aynı Üniversitede Mesleki Eğitim Fakültesi, Ticaret ve Turizm Eğitim Fakültesi, İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi’nde öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmıştır. 1991 yılında yardımcı doçent, 1994 yılında doçent ve 2000 yılında profesör unvanlarını kazanmıştır. Ticaret ve Turizm Eğitim Fakültesi ve İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi’nde yaklaşık on yıl dekanlık görevini yürütmüştür. Gazi Üniversitesi Vakfı Yönetim Kurulu Üyeliği, Avrupa Üniversiteler Birliği Temsilciliği, Anabilim Dalı Başkanlığı, Bölüm Başkanlıkları, uluslararası çeşitli programlarda yöneticilikler, dergi yayın kurulu üyeliği ve genel yayın yönetmenlikleri gibi çeşitli görevlerde bulunmuştur. Pazarlama ve Pazarlama Araştırmaları Derneği Kurucu Başkanlığı görevini de yürütmüş olan Üner’in, pazarlama yönetimi, stratejik pazarlama planlaması, uluslararası pazarlama, uluslararası işletmecilik, hizmet pazarlaması, turizm pazarlaması, elektronik ticaret gibi konularda yayınlanmış çok sayıda ulusal ve uluslararası makaleleri, bildirileri, kitapları ve projeleri bulunmaktadır. Halen Atılım Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesinde dekan olarak görev yapmakta olan M.Mithat Üner, evli ve iki çocuk babasıdır.
Jörg Matthes (PhD, University of Zurich) is Professor of Communication Science at the Department of Communication, University of Vienna, Austria, where he directs the Advertising and Media Psychology Research Group (AdMe). His research focuses on digital media effects, advertising and consumer research, sustainability communication, children & media, terrorism and populism as well as empirical methods. He has published more than 200 journal articles and his research activities received awards and honors from the German Communication Association, the International Communication Association, the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, the German Psychological Association, or the World Association for Public Opinion Research. He is also recipient of several top dissertation awards, i.e., by the German Communication Association, the Faculty of Arts of the University of Zurich, and the Swiss Association for Market and Social Research. In 2014, he received the Young Scholar Award by the International Communication Association honoring the most outstanding research career worldwide seven years past the PhD. Two years later, he received AEJMC's Hillier Krieghbaum Under 40 Award which honors scholars "under 40 years of age who have shown outstanding achievement and effort in all three AEJMC areas: teaching, research and public service". In 2019, he was honored with the UNIVIE Teaching Award and in 2021, he was elected as a Fellow of the International Communication Association. He was recipient of an Advanced Grant (2.5 Million Euros) by the European Research Council (ERC) in 2022.
He has served the field as Associate Editor and Editor-in-Chief of Communication Methods & Measures, leading the journal to be ranked as #1 in the Social Science Citation Index in 2022. He also was Associate Editor of The Journal of Communication as well as Human Communication Research and since 2020, he is Associate Editor of The Journal of Advertising. He is currently sitting on the Editorial Board of more than 15 journals.
From 2012 to 2014 he was Vice Chair and then, from 2014-2022, Chair of the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna. Under his leadership, the Department rose to be ranked among the top 30 Departments for communication science in the world. He served as an evaluator and advisor for the quality assessment of higher education institutions and research programs in The Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Bulgaria, or China.
04.08.1970 tarihinde Ankara’da doğdu. Gazi Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi Ekonometri Bölümünden 1993 yılında bölüm birincisi olarak mezun oldu. 1998 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Ekonometri Anabilim Dalında Yüksek Lisans, 2002 yılında Doktora eğitimini tamamladı. 1994 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi Ekonometri Bölümü Yöneylem Araştırması Anabilim Dalında Araştırma Görevlisi olarak göreve başladı. 2002 yılında aynı bölümde Öğretim Görevlisi Dr. 2004 yılında ise Yardımcı Doçent Dr. ve 2011 yılında Doç. Dr. ve 2017 yılında Profesör oldu. Halen yurt içinde çeşitli uluslararası ve ulusal dergilerde yayınlamış olan 73 makalesi, çeşitli ulusal ve uluslararası kongre ve seminerlerde sunulmuş olan 116 tane bildirisi, 22 kitabın bazı bölümlerde katkısı, 4 tane Gazi Üniversitesi Araştırma Fonu projesi, 4 tane AB tarafından fonlanan projesi, 32 adet farklı kuruluşlara hazırlanan projesi vardır. Yöneylem Araştırması, Etkinlik ve Verimlilik Analizleri, İstatistiksel Analizler, Ekonometri, Stratejik Planlama, Bilimsel Araştırma Yöntemleri, Çalışan ve Müşteri Memnuniyeti Değerlendirmesi, Proje Değerlendirme, Anket Analizi, Etki Analizi vb. alanlarda çalışmalar yapmaktadır.
Oana Ramona LOBONȚ is a Professor Ph.D. habil. within the Finance Department, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, West University of Timisoara, with over 20 years of experience in socio-economic research. The main areas of interest include, among others, Environmental and climate change, Public economics, Energy economics, Institutional economics, Governance, Health Economics, and Societal impact and policy on the other. Her research in these fields has been published in 10 books and over 80 papers indexed in Web of Science academic journals.
Abiodun Salawu, FNAL is Professor of Journalism, Communication and Media Studies and Director of the research entity, Indigenous Language Media in Africa (ILMA) at the North-West University, South Africa. He has taught and researched media and communication for about three decades in Nigeria and SA. Prior to his academic career, he practised journalism in a number of print media organisations in Nigeria. He has, to his credit, close to 200 scholarly publications in academic journals and books. He has also edited/co-edited fifteen books and authored one. A well-travelled scholar, he has presented papers at conferences in countries across all the continents of the world. Abiodun has also enjoyed fellowships (visiting researcher) at universities in United Kingdom, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea and Sweden. He has also won a number of research grants. He holds leadership positions in the International Association for Media and Communication Research and the International Association for Minority Language Media Research. He is an editor and a member of editorial/advisory boards of a number of journals. He is rated by the NRF (of SA) as an established researcher at the level of C1 (with international recognition) and he is a member of the Codesria’s College of Senior Academic Mentors.
