International Journal of Turkish Education Sciences

The International Journal of Turkish Education Sciences (IJTES), also known as Uluslararası Türk Eğitim Bilimleri Dergisi, is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University. Established in 2013, IJTES publishes empirical and theoretical studies in the field of educational sciences and, since 2024, has followed a triannual publication schedule (March, July, and November). The journal adopted a bilingual publication policy (Turkish and English) in 2023 and, as of 2026, publishes exclusively in English. IJTES is published under the ISSN 2148-2314, under which both its Turkish title (Uluslararası Türk Eğitim Bilimleri Dergisi) and its English title (International Journal of Turkish Education Sciences) are registered, indicating continuity of publication and title standardization. The journal welcomes original research articles and review papers that contribute to the understanding of educational sciences and is managed by an editorial board. All articles are assigned a DOI and are published as open access without subscription fees or article processing charges (APCs). Since 2023, IJTES has operated under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, permitting unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction with appropriate attribution; prior to 2023, the journal followed a traditional open-access model with retained copyright. To ensure academic integrity, all submissions undergo similarity screening via intihal.net prior to editorial evaluation, and the journal employs a web-based submission and management system supporting a double-blind peer-review process. IJTES follows the ethical guidelines of COPE and complies with relevant national and international research and publication standards.
