Assoc. Prof. Gülşah Batdal Karaduman; completed her undergraduate studies at Hasan Ali Yücel Faculty of Education, Department of Elementary Teacher Education and Elementary Mathematics Teaching, of Istanbul University. She finished her master's degree at the Department of Elementary Teacher Training at Istanbul University Education Institute. She completed her doctoral studies (Ph.D.) at the Department of Gifted Education of the same university. The topics of her theses were mathematics education, differentiation, creativity, spatial ability. She has presented papers at various international and national conferences on elementary education, mathematics teaching, creativity, special education, gifted and talented students, high-level thinking skills and has written books, chapters, articles for national and international publications, she took part in various projects. She was a visiting professor at the Department of Mathematics Education in the School of Education at the University of Wyoming from 2021-2022. She attended various courses and presented seminars about Teaching Mathematics with Creative Techniques at University of Wyoming. She is currently a visiting professor in the Department of Educational Psychology in the School of Education at Baylor University. She taught Social/Emotional Needs of the Gifted at Baylor University in the summer course. She teaches Creativity and Problem Solving and Statistical Methods at Baylor University in the fall semester. She is an associate professor at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa.
