Salih UCAK completed his undergraduate education at Malatya İnönü University, Faculty of Education, Department of Turkish Language and Literature Teaching and Istanbul University, Departmant of Polıtıcal Scıence and Internatıonal Relatıons. Afterwards, he started to work as a teacher and completed his master's degree at Dumlupınar University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. Between 2000-2011, he worked as a literature teacher in schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. He completed his PhD at Fırat University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Old Turkish Literature. In 2011, UCAK was appointed as a faculty member to the Department of Turkish Language of the Faculty of Languages under the Consulate General of Iraq Erbil by the decision of the Inter-Ministerial Joint Culture Commission. Having returned to the country in 2016, UÇAK studied as an Academy Coordinator at the Teachers' Academies within the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education. İn 2021, the title of “Associate Professor” was given by the Higher Education Council. Now, he is a Faculty Member of University of Georgia.
