VAKANUVIS is a is a double blind peer-reviewed bi-annual (every year a special issue will also be published) international academic journal published in March and September. Articles on History and (if seen appropriate) other social sciences related to history will be accepted for the review process. VAKANUVIS is being indexed in TR Dizin, DOAJ Directory of Open Access Journals, Index EuroPub, Crossref, CEEOL, ERIH PLUS, Index Copernicus, SOBİAD, Scientific Indexing Services, International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR), Infobase Index, Citefactor, ResearchBib, Central and Eastern European Online Library, International Scientific Indexing, Advanced Sciences Index, Eurasian Scientific Journal Index, and İSAM. 

VAKANUVIS is using iThenticate plagiarism detection software in order to detect and prevent plagiarism. Articles that has similarity ratio of 15% or more will be rejected without review process.
