He has been working as a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education in Trabzon University, Fatih Faculty of Education. Her specialty is chemistry education and her research interests include topics such as determination of student understanding levels and misconceptions about science subjects, designing and implementing learning / teaching environments based on conceptual change, developing and implementing instructional materials, teaching programs, stories in science teaching, models and modeling in science education.
