Beyza Ustaoğlu is an Associate Professor at Geography Department of Sakarya University. She received her B.S. Degree (2001) in Geography from Istanbul University, her M.S. Degree (2005) in Geography from Sakarya University and her Ph.D. Degree (2009) in Earth System Science from Istanbul Technical University, Eurasia Institute of Earth Science, Climate and Marine Department. She worked for Joint Research Centre (JRC), Institute for the Protection and Security of the Citizen (IPSC), Agri4Cast Department of European Commission (EC) between 2008 and 2009 as a TUBITAK scholar. Her research areas are climate data analysis, climate change impact analysis particularly on relationship between climate and agriculture, phenological research, land cover analysis using remote sensing and GIS. She published seven SCI journal articles, nine other index articles, one book, five book chapters, many conference and symposium papers and supervised six MS students. She supervised and worked for several research projects.
