Mizanu'l-Haqq: Journal of Islamic Studies
ISSN: 2149-9896 / e-ISSN: 2636-8161
Mizanu’l-Haqq: Journal of Islamic Studies (MIZAN) is a double blind peer-reviewed international journal published by the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Izmir Kâtip Çelebi University, Izmir, Turkey. The Journal publishes research papers in the fields of religion in general, Islam in particular twice a year, in December and in June.
MIZAN welcomes original research papers, translations, reviews for books, articles, thesis, projects, symposiums and conferences, critical textual studies, simplified reports and the like. The main objective of MIZAN is to provide an intellectual platform for the scholars of religion and of Islam to share their research with the scientific milieu. It is expected that the manuscripts submitted for publication make scholarly contribution to religious and Islamic studies, address practical as well as theoretical issues preparing the ground for discussing the religious problems that individuals and communities face, and put forward a set of proposals for consideration and exchange of ideas.
It is very important to MIZAN to increase the readership and the impact factor of the works published. To do this, the articles published starting from the fourth issue will include ORCID identifiers (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) of the authors. In such cases as name resemblances, institutional changes, and writing of names with special characters, some problems can arise in publishing, quoting and indexing processes. To overcome these potential obstacles, each article from the fourth issue onwards will include the ORCID ID of its authors. For this reason, the authors who do not have ORCID identifiers and wish to submit their articles to MIZAN are first required to register for an individual ORCID ID for free at "http://orcid.org" and send their works adding their ORCID identifiers afterwards.
