Afyon Kocatepe University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences (ISSN: 1302-1966, eISSN: 2651-4117) is an international, academic and peer-reviewed journal. Journal has been publishing biannually in June and December since 1999. The Journal has been publishing both online and hardcopy since the issue of December 2015. Journal only accepts articles submitted through www.dergipark.gov.tr/akuiibfd and publishing issues on this web site. The short title of the journal is KOCATEPEİİBF Journal.

The Journal aims to promote contemporary research in the field of business, finance, management, economics, marketing, production management, accounting, and relevant subjects. Moreover, it seeks to facilitate communications between academics and practitioners on domestic and international issues.
The Journal covers contemporary research in the field of business, finance, management, economics, marketing, production management, accounting, and relevant subjects. The Journal reviews theoretical and empirical papers, and case studies written in Turkish and English in the field of social sciences. The journal also publishes review papers and technical reports.
Journal accepts Turkish and English articles. Journal does not charge any fee from authors. Also, the journal does not pay any fee (such as royalty etc.) to authors or referees. Download and view statistics of published articles are sharing as open source data at the web site.
The submitted articles must be unpublished and must not be submitted to any other journal, book or etc. before. Articles must between 3.000 and 8.000 words. Submission must be done through DergiPark. Submitted articles have been controlling via plagiarism software (iThenticate & Turnitin) upon plagiarism and similarity index at the pre-review stage. The submissions which are not proper to the journal’s principles about spelling rules and scientific ethic will be rejected at the pre-review stage.
The journal uses a double-blind peer review method. Therefore, articles have been sending at least three referees. In order to be accepted, an article must get a positive opinion of at least two-thirds of referees. Referees are assigned among expert academicians in their study fields and at least with a Ph.D. degree. Scholars who work in the same institution as the author cannot be assigned as a referee. Also, referees are preferably chosen from outside our university
