Bio

Egemen İpek is an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance & Banking at the Tarsus University, Mersin, Turkey. He received his Ph.D. in economics from Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon, Turkey. He was a Visiting Ph.D. student at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2013-2014. He was a Visiting Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at Brunel University in 2018-2019. His research area includes household economics, consumer demand analysis, health economics and applied microeconometrics.
