Aim & Scope
BAHCE journal aims to increase and disseminate knowledge in different scientific disciplines in the field of horticulture. BAHCE journal aims to provide a platform for researchers to share their work addressing challenges in the field of horticulture.
BAHCE journal includes articles containing original research results from different scientific disciplines in the field of horticulture, as well as a limited number of reviews and letters to the editor. The journal's publication languages are Turkish and English. However, Turkish articles must have English titles, abstracts and keywords, and English articles must have Turkish titles, abstracts and keywords.

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
- Articles that have not been previously published or are not under evaluation in another journal for publication are accepted.
- The scientific and ethical compliance of the article is the responsibility of the author(s).
- If the article contains previously published citations, tables, pictures, etc., obtaining the relevant permissions is the responsibility of the author(s).
- Compliance with copyright regulations for patents, ideas, and works of art used is the responsibility of the author(s).
- Corresponding Author uploads the Copyright Transfer Agreement signed by all authors to the system along with the manuscript.
- An “Ethics Committee Permission Certificate” must be obtained for any research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that requires data collection from participants using survey, interview, focus group study, observation, experiment, and interview techniques. This certificate must be uploaded to the system during the Manuscript submission, also the name of the institution from which the permission was obtained, on which date and with which decision number should be provided as a footnote on the first page of the article.
- The Editorial Board may make or request changes in the text for spelling and keywords within the scope of AGROVOC Thesaurus.
- Manuscripts are evaluated by at least two reviewers. Authors upload the revised article and responses to reviewers’ evaluations to the system based on the evaluations received through the system. Revised manuscripts, approved by the referees and the Editorial Board, are published.
- Individuals who do not meet the criteria for authorship but contributed to the study and/or organizations that provided funding should be stated in the “acknowledgements” section.
Price Policy
BAHCE journal follows an open-access model. Authors article processing and publishing is done without any charges and readers can reach to all the manuscripts of BAHCE without any costs.
BAHCE journal content is licensed under a Creative Commons (CC BY) which permits third parties to share and adapt the content by giving the appropriate credit to the original work. Authors transfer the publishing rights to BAHCE journal but other than this retain the copyright of their published work and can self-archive their manuscripts online.

Baş Editör
İlköğrenim ve lise öğrenimini Edirne’de tamamladı. 2006 yılında Ege Üniversitesinden Ziraat Mühendisi olarak mezun oldu. Yüksek lisans öğrenimini CIHEAM Bari İtalya’da “Akdeniz Organik Tarımı” üzerine; doktorasını ise Ege Üniversitesinde tamamladı. 2009-2010 yıllarında Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi - İzmir Meslek Yüksek Okulunda ders verdi. Haziran 2011 tarihinden beri Atatürk Bahçe Kültürleri Merkez Araştırma Enstitüsü Meyvecilik Bölümü’nde araştırmacı olarak çalışmakta. 2017 yılında Kaliforniya Üniversitesi Davis kampüsünde misafir araştırmacı olarak bulundu. Araştırmalarını sürdürülebilirlik, organik tarım, zeytin yetiştiriciliği ve ıslahı üzerine sürdürmektedir. Bilimsel yayın yapan Bahçe dergisinin baş editörlüğünü yürütmektedir.
